Tramontina has earned significant certificates that attest to and add a seal of quality to our products and manufacturing processes.

One of these is the Renewable Energy Certificate, issued to Tramontina Sudeste by the Brazilian Association for the Generation of Clean Energy (Abragel) and by the Brazilian Association of Wind Power (ABEEólica). The certificate aims to foster the market of renewable energy sources with a high performance in relation to sustainabilit.

Tramontina Eletrik, in turn, earned two new certificates. One of them was the IATF 16949:2016 Standard, a technical specification developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), aligned with current North American, German, French and Italian standards regarding automotive quality systems within the automotive industry worldwide. The IATF 16949:2016 Standard specifies the requirements of the quality system together with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard for the processes of companies involved with automotive processes. Our company has offered aluminum-injected automotive parts since 2001. This certificate is important because it helps us to open new businesses in the automotive parts sector.

The other certificate was the Qualification Certificate from the Sector-Specific Program for the Quality of Plastic Electrical Conduits for Low Voltage Systems in Buildings for light and medium corrugated electrical conduits, issued by the Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of Sanitation Materials (ASFAMAS) and by TESIS - Tecnologia e Qualidade de Sistemas de Engenharia Ltda. The certificate attests that Tramontina Eletrik is qualified under the PSQ – Sector-Specific Quality Program from PBQP-H (Brazilian Program of Quality and Productivity of Habitation), after assessment of the level of compliance of our light and medium corrugated electrical conduits, based on the specific requirements of Brazilian Technical Standard ABNT NBR 15465:2008 – Plastic Electrical Conduit Systems for Low Voltage Electrical Installations - Performance Requirements.
